✔️ I applied to the Silicon Valley Fellowship, got accepted, packed my backpack, and flew solo to the other side of the world 🌎. In 2 weeks, I explored 3 cities that had lived rent-free in my mind for years. I visited companies I’ve admired for so long in San Francisco, enjoyed the amazing beaches of LA, and got lost in New York's never-ending lights.
I don’t have those inspiring stories where as a kid I made a computer and I didn't grow up dreaming about going to Silicon Valley, because I never knew it could be possible. But it happened. (YES)
This fellowship gave me more than just the opportunity to visit global tech companies, it gave me the chance to talk with CEOs and managers, to see their daily lives, and to hear their stories.
I had countless pinch-me moments standing at some HQs such as Google, Apple, Tesla, YCombinator, Uber, Salesforce and others. It was like being a 4yo receiving the first bike at Christmas.

Sharing my incredible experience as a participant in the Silicon Valley Fellowship! 💫
Two months ago, I had the opportunity to visit some of the most significant Tech companies such as Google, Meta, and Juniper Networks, as well as the prestigious Stanford University and leading VCs.
I am so grateful I had the pleasure of meeting such great people there. Together we have shared our experience, ideas, and vision.
Big thanks to Coinis and Glosarij d.o.o. for their unwavering support, in making this experience possible. Additionally, I extend my sincere gratitude to American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro and its Executive Director Marko Mirocevic for their continuous support. 🇲🇪
Special thanks to Erick Turricelli, Ligeia Remonato, and the entire Gomry team for organizing this outstanding program. 🚀🇺🇸

Last month I spent 15 days in Silicon Valley
Here are a few learnings I wanted to share:
1. Your environment is crucial
You MUST pay attention to the people around you,
you're the sum of the 5 people you spend the most time with.
Also try to make sure you have the resources you need.
2. Failure is part of the process
try ➞ fail ➞ learn ➞ iterate ➞ succeed
3. No magic formula
There's no shortcut, just
work. work. work. work. work. work. work. work.
4. Dream big
How big would you dream if you knew you couldn't fail?
here comes the famous "go big or go home"
5. Be humble
You're NEVER the biggest player in the room
(unless you're Elon)
But don't be too humble or you'll disappear...
Daniel
Thanks again Silicon Valley Fellowship for making this happen, our gratefulness for this life-changing experience will never be enough…

For the first time in my life, I truly understood what does it mean to be EAGER TO LEARN.
Previous to the Silicon Valley Fellowship, I have never been with a group of so many bright, curious and talented people such as the one I found in San Francisco.
We met outstanding mentors and we have never left them without asking thousands of questions, about their job, their background or their advice for us.
I had a lot of time to reflect and think about my life goals and my passions. I understood that the only recipe to have success in life is to be working on something you really like and to be surrounded by people you really love. Only in this way we can truly learn and dream…
Alex
Ever since I was a kid, people would roll their eyes at me, calling me unrealistic. It’s frustrating not to be taken seriously, especially when all you want to do is help others.
Ambition & optimism are honestly funny. They go hand in hand of course but there's a fine line between rational optimism and irrational optimism. When I was younger, I was very ambitious but very irrationally optimistic. But I've learned over time how to create actionable goals that are realistic but still in the mindset of "Impacting Billions". And that's because of who I surround myself with.
When I went to San Francisco for the Silicon Valley Fellowship, I finally felt understood. I found my people, and I had a BLAST!

What an amazing experience has just come to an end with the closing of the Silicon Valley Fellowship April batch.
The last days have been an incredible concentrate of #learning, #inspiration and #energy. We had the occasion to learn from the experience of people that chosen to live in a place that offers immense opportunities but, at the same time, represents the most competitive environment in the world…

Bits of the last seven days spent in the San Francisco Bay Area. Where to start?
Thanks to Silicon Valley Fellowship, I had the chance to visit for the first time in my life the USA, and not just as a tourist! In these days I learned first-hand insights from Silicon Valley-based Tech professionals, entrepreneurs and venture capitalists…

It’s been an incredible week in the heart of Silicon Valley. First of all, thanks to Silicon Valley Fellowship for this incredibile opportunity.
I've walked down towards the streets of San Francisco alongside talented guys, who became friends, and from whom I've learned how to challenge myself and how to keep growing. I feel that I’ve learned so much from you all.
Furthermore, I've had the pleasure to meet extraordinary people who shape the trajectory of the future. It's difficult to summarize in a bunch of words what I've learned, but I love model a part of the vision each of them has imparted to me, and so I'll try…

Silicon Valley Fellowship: day 1 🚀🇺🇸
As promised, I’ll keep you updated on how this week in #SiliconValley goes. Today it was the first day and it was actually pretty insane! 🤩
During the morning we went to Meta headquarters and we had the opportunity to understand what does it mean to work there, how can you get a job there and what is Meta doing within the startup ecosystem. Thanks Alessandro Solbiati for hosting us, it was a pleasure!…

Another day, another adventure. First day of the Silicon Valley Fellowship kicks off strong with Google. Surrounded by innovation, this place is a mind-blowing💣. Thank you Dario Gentiletti for the amazing tour!

This past week two big things happened in my life:
1. I was part of the Silicon Valley Fellowship.
2. I decided to move to San Francisco.

This month, I defended my Master’s thesis, concluding a five-year degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. I also went to the United States for the first time, in the most amazing context. At the age of 23, just before entering the job market, I had the opportunity to visit the biggest tech giants and meet some of the most resilient and inspiring people in this ecosystem. Thank you Silicon Valley Fellowship for the experience of a lifetime and the years of motivation to come.
We’ll meet again 🚀

After a short but intense week i have just finished the Silicon Valley Fellowship.
I could never have imagined that a short time such as six days could be so impactful and completely change my perception of myself and the world.
In these six days, I had the opportunity to talk to and hear the stories of amazing individuals who work in Silicon Valley…

Some fresh thoughts after an incredible week spent around San Francisco with the Silicon Valley Fellowship, an immersive program based on visits to big tech companies, mentorship sessions, and meetings with founders, professionals and investors.
Here are some take-home messages I will bring with me after this experience:
👥 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆: The ability of SV to attract a high density of talents and consistent capital ensures that new technologies can emerge almost daily. Spontaneous brainstorming sessions in front of a glass of wine in a bar are commonplace, highlighting how innovation is not just a job but part of daily life…
Riccardo
The starting point? Having an idea. Easy. I needed to fly to Silicon Valley to truly understand what it takes to make the next step, by listening to passionate and driven people who have been willing to sleep in garages, to be out of money and therefore eat instant noodles, to bet everything on a flight to SF.
Silicon Valley Fellowship gave me the opportunity of questioning, strengthen my perspective and learning…

It has been one week since I got back to Italy, and I needed the last few days to take all in the invaluable experience that the Silicon Valley Fellowship was. During a five-days bootcamp, I was able to listen and question amazingly driven individuals that operate in Silicon Valley, who exposed me to completely different backgrounds and experiences and from which I could grasp invaluable insights…
